What I Wore: Sunny Days
After a week of unbearable heat and torrential downpours I was ecstatic to see the sun shining bright! I knew it was the perfect time to whip out this outfit.
This maxi skirt c/o SWAK is nice and long - which I love! Most maxi skirts and maxi dresses end up looking like middies on my 6’3 bod. The cropped denim vest turned top was a budget friendly find from Conway for just $13!
The jewel toned necklace is from my favorite accessory store: My best friend/roommate’s closet! (Thanks girl!)
On a personal note, this outfit makes me feel very empowered. I’ve always been comfortable with my body but I love how free it feels baring my belly, stretch marks and all! I’ve realized that people are always going to look at me - whether that’s because I’m so tall or because I’m plus size… I will never know - So I might as well wear whatever I want while they stare.
